The Canadian Remedial Action Plan Implementation Committee (CRIC) has recently released the St. Clair River Area of Concern 2012 – 2017 Report of Accomplishments. This document highlights work completed over the 5 year period and indicates which actions remain in order to delist the river as an Area of Concern. The report covers the time period from April 1, 2012 to March 31, 2017. Since that time a number of significant accomplishments have been achieved in the AOC including re-designation of three more BUIs – Bird or Animal Deformities or Reproductive Problems, Restrictions on Dredging Activities, and Beach Closings.
